Marlon J. Green

Marlon Jamal Green is a writer, story consultant, and former college instructor of Writing and Communication whose creative journey has been anything but conventional.
After studying at UCLA, USC, and NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Marlon worked both in Hollywood and with independent productions and sold a screenplay to an established Hollywood production company. Just as his career was gaining momentum, Marlon was diagnosed with a rare brain disease in 2004 when doctors predicted he had only a few months to live.
And yet, here he is, determined and a fighting to tell stories. The disabling illness sidelined Marlon for nearly two decades, but he continues striving toward his goals and overcoming adversity one day at a time.
Significantly recovered but still navigating mild disability, Marlon is at your service developing original screenplays, creative fiction/nonfiction, providing story consultation, and working to build StoryRay LLC into a creative platform committed to bold narratives that actually move people.
